Clariant launches a new special effect colorant masterbatch

The Clariant parent company launched several new special effect colorant masterbatches.

One of the new Enigma products is the Color-Shift colorant masterbatch Spectrachromeo. From a different perspective, the colored products have different colors. This effect was particularly good for PP and PE but was not approved for use in contact with food.

Clariant's recent trial showed that the parent material Son-Touch used for blow molding has the same effect in injection molding products. Son-Touch is a compound of soft bulking resin compound and color masterbatch. The product has a smooth, matt appearance and has been practically used for the production of PP lids. o Son-Touch and soft: satin effect. After adding, the product looks shiny and shiny but has less reflective effect than pearlescent pigments, plus Son-Touch Plastics can be formed using existing finishing tools.
