Multi-Color Introduces Innovative Ink Thermal Transfer Labeler

U.S. United Silicone and Multi-Color recently jointly launched a labeling machine called the Impulse-HT, which uses ink for accurate thermal transfer label printing, and print speeds up to 300 containers/min.

This labeler can transfer photos and images with high brightness and sharpness to various sizes of double-sided plastic and glass blow-molded containers. In addition, because the entire transfer process is flameless, the machine is particularly suitable for PET polyester and high density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic containers, and can reduce costs and increase production safety.

Multi-Color hopes that this high-speed ink-only label printing system can replace the traditional application of the ACL (Ceramic Labeling) method (ACL), because this marking method can only achieve certain cost-effectiveness in the case of mass production.

In addition, this labeler can quickly produce acid etching effects without the consequences of high costs, hazards, and environmental impacts associated with the use of hydrofluoric acid.
