In the wild, how to extend the life of rechargeable batteries?
Today, with the continuous development of science and technology, our daily lives are filled with smart phones, tablets, cameras and other electrical equipment, for outdoor enthusiasts, all hope to return to nature during the trip.
However, mobile phones, flashlights and other devices are also indispensable. This has brought about a problem that can not be ignored, how long the life of the rechargeable battery.
Temperature characteristics: Because the migration rate of the rechargeable battery in the electrolyte body and the electrode sheet is closely related to the temperature, the fluctuation of the temperature will significantly affect the technical performance of the rechargeable battery.
Storage temperature: Under normal circumstances, the battery due to internal liquid, long-term storage at low temperatures can damage the battery's internal chemical substances, it is recommended that under the conditions, the storage temperature should not be less than -20 °C; and excessive temperature also make The battery cannot reach its rated capacity, and the storage temperature should not exceed 40°C.
The normal storage temperature of the rechargeable battery is -20°C to +65°C. When the temperature drops below -20°C, the electrolyte in the battery will solidify, the internal resistance of the battery will become infinite, and the battery will be unusable.
When the temperature exceeds +65°C, an adverse reaction occurs in the electrolyte and a large amount of gas is generated, and the resin adhesive in the electrode sheet also deteriorates, thereby causing the entire battery to gradually deteriorate and deteriorate, even in the short term.
Charging temperature: Under normal circumstances, the charging temperature is 0 °C ~ 45 °C.
Discharge temperature: Under normal circumstances, the discharge temperature is -20 °C ~ 65 °C; but in some special circumstances, low temperature battery and high temperature battery can be used. The battery pack is normally discharged before being shipped from the factory to prevent short circuit due to shock or other reasons during transportation. Usually the new battery is not charged or only about 20% of the battery capacity.
A new battery or a battery that has not been used for a long time may not be fully activated due to active substances. Before use, it usually takes two or three cycles of small current (0.1C) charge and discharge to achieve nominal capacity. Batteries that are not used for a long period of time should be stored in a state of charge. Generally, they can be precharged with 50% to 100% of the charge. After every three months, it is recommended to charge the battery once to recover to saturation capacity.
Battery Usage Notes:
1. Do not incinerate or dismantle the battery. Chemicals are corrosive and can damage the skin and eyes.
2. Do not pull the battery lead or plug to prevent damage to solder joints and connections.
3. Different types of batteries cannot be mixed.
4. Welding on different types of batteries requires soldering using a connector.
5. Fully charge with a small current before first use.
6. Do not charge in parallel, otherwise it will produce irregular charging current.
7. Do not use or short-circuit the battery in reverse.
8. After the battery is fully discharged, the charging time should be extended to reach the saturated power.
9. Store the battery in a cool, dry and ventilated place where the temperature does not exceed 45°C.
10. Do not store large numbers of batteries densely when the battery is fully charged or half full.
11. Do not touch acidic gases and avoid near fire.
Lastly, in terms of primary and secondary batteries, the former mainly refers to batteries that cannot be charged and can only be discharged, but the primary battery capacity is generally larger than that of equivalent specifications such as zinc manganese, alkaline dry batteries, lithium button batteries, and lithium batteries. Battery and so on.
The latter refers to batteries that can be recharged and recirculated, such as lead-acid, nickel-cadmium, nickel-hydrogen, lithium-ion, lithium polymer, fuel, zinc, aluminum, and magnesium air batteries. Outdoor enthusiasts must distinguish the concept in order to properly use the rechargeable battery.
In the wild, the new donkey will encounter three things: lost, no water, no electricity, so learn to maintain the battery to extend its life and duration to make our outdoor activities more convenient!
Our Advantage is:
1. complete Size & Color
2. High quality
3. Competitive price
