1 Main content and application scope

This standard specifies the quality requirements and inspection methods for offset printed newspapers.

This standard applies to newspaper prints printed using offset printing, and newspapers printed using other printing methods may refer to use.

2 Reference standards

3 Product Categories

Monochrome: In the printing process, only one ink is printed on the substrate.

Multi-color products: In the printing process, two or more ink colors are printed on the substrate.

4 Quality requirements

(1) The appearance of the finished product is clean and tidy, there are no obvious striations, stencils, and dirty plates. The lack of strokes does not affect the meaning of the word, and there must be no overprinting phenomenon. The text is clear, the field is uniform, and the colors are true. The "heart" is centered on the version of the mind, and the head of the day is slightly larger than the footing. No broken edges, folds, folds, cuts, cuts, and page breaks.

(2) Overprinting and printing of each format, and the tolerances for the front and back overlays "up and down" and "left and right" should not exceed 2 mm. In the same format with two colors or more, the overprint tolerance should be in accordance with Table 1.
