MeadWestvaco's latest Duodozen 1250HF packaging system is a set of high-speed devices that provide a full range of packaging options.


With this advanced technology and equipment, drinkers can choose a variety of Duodozen's packaging structure, bottle mouth and handles. Due to its high flexibility, the system is suitable for cans and bottles, cardboards and cartons of various heights and diameters. The carton size is 2x2-4x6. Beverage manufacturers can choose from these packaging formats to meet their brand and customer needs.

“The packaging of the 1250HF system is very flexible and efficient,” said John Perkins, vice president of global business development at MeadWestvaco Packaging Systems. “The equipment can be used in several packaging formats at the same time, which is suitable for all sizes of beverage manufacturers. ”

The maximum equipment for this equipment can reach 2400 cans/minute or 1800 bottles/minute. The equipment adopts servo system design to ensure stability at a high speed and reliable packaging quality. Thanks to the use of the standard auxiliary motor indirect transmission technology, the speed change is very precise and simple and does not require tools. As the speed changes, the display screen informs the operator of each step, helping the operator to be familiar with the changes in the equipment.

"In order to achieve high-speed synchronization, we use servo technology in each component," Perkins said. "In this way, the probability of a sudden stoppage of equipment is reduced and the performance of the entire system is improved."

The Duodozen 1250HF system was first introduced in Drinktec 2005 and is now available to customers worldwide. "This is the key equipment we have displayed at Drinktec this year," Perkins said. "From the customer feedback we get, the customer is very satisfied with the performance of the system."
