GMG ProofControl supports X-Rite DTP20

In addition to supporting Eye-One from GretagMacbeth, GMG ProofControl now also supports X-Rite's DTP 20 (Pulse) spectrophotometer.

The DTP 20 can be used not only for GMG ProofControl, but also for printer calibration and creation of profile files. What needs special mention is the high speed of the DTP 20, and it is also very convenient to handle. For example, it supports infinite measurements (such as without a USB cable). After the measurement, the measurement tool is connected to the computer and the measurement data is transmitted to the computer via the USB cable. This is useful, for example, if the meter and the computer are not in the same room, or if you need to measure a large sample, it is not necessary to transfer it directly. Like the Eye-One, the DTP 20 is also available in both UV and non-UV versions.

Both GMG ProofControl instruments are supported and there is no difference in quality and measurement methods. The DTP 20 supports larger measurement charts. In other words, if the customer has not yet had a spectrophotometer, he can use the DTP 20 to perform printer calibration and profile creation. Compared to Eye-One (2 bars), DTP 20 must measure 3 bars. However, this "shortcoming" can get higher speed.

The DTP 20 has a higher maximum color difference value than the GMG's original standard spectrophotometer instrument.
