Objective To establish a rapid determination method for 42 components of organophosphorus pesticides, organochlorine pesticides, carbamate pesticides, and pyrethroid pesticides in the workplace air. Methods A solid adsorbent was used to collect a variety of mixed pesticide poisons in the air. After desorption with 1: 1 acetone-n-hexane, DB-35 ms was used as the separation column and combined with gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. Results All components were completely separated from each other and could be qualitatively confirmed at the same time; 42 kinds of organic pesticides had a good linear relationship within a certain concentration range, the correlation coefficient R ≥ 0.99; the minimum detection limit was far lower than the on-site dose level of occupational chemical poisoning. The decomposition efficiency of 8 representative pesticide groups was 86.3% ~ 98.5%. Conclusion This method has high selectivity, sensitivity and accuracy, and can fully satisfy the rapid qualitative and quantitative determination of multiple pesticide poisoning in the air of workplace.
