Paper is one of the important materials for printed books and magazines, so it is very important to keep the paper. When storing paper, please note the following:

(1) Do not throw it from a height downwards when transporting paper to avoid loose parts and damage to the paper. Paper should not be erected, as flat as possible. The stacking of webs should not be so high as to crush the edges or the paper cores; personal accidents can occur if the stacking is too high. Do not use iron hooks while carrying. Roll paper should be pushed by arrow pointing.

(2) Open storage time should not be too long, it must be timely transported into the warehouse for storage.

(3) moisture. Paper is hygroscopic and very sensitive to air humidity. The moisture content of the paper varies with the humidity of the air, so store the paper in a clean, dry place. When paper is stacked, put your feet. Do not cling to the wall. The relative humidity in warehouses and workshops where paper is stored should preferably be kept between 60% and 70%.

(4) Sun protection. Paper contains lignin. Avoid direct sunlight exposure. After the paper is exposed to moisture, the paper evaporates and the paper becomes brittle or deformed. In severe cases, it cannot be printed on the machine.

(5) Heat protection. Paper temperature is not too high when stored. When the temperature exceeds 38°C, the strength of the paper significantly decreases, and in particular, the coated paper will stick into pieces and become waste. The temperature of warehouses and workshops where paper is stored should be 18 to 20°C.

(6) Anti-folding. When stacking paper bags, it is absolutely necessary to avoid stacking them one by one. When stacking, the four sides of the paper cannot be staggered, otherwise the protruding part will be cracked, creaked, discolored, etc. Therefore, the paper must be laid neatly.
