The new type carton moisture-proof coating oil completely overcomes the disadvantages of the traditional products such as slow drying speed, easy adhesion, dry color-removal, impact on the carton ink, or pollution to the environment, poor moisture-proof effect, etc., and is an organic solvent-free product. Non-toxic, non-irritating, non-corrosive, non-flammable, non-explosive. No odor liquid finish. It can be widely used in the moisture proofing and polishing of corrugated cartons of any product, no matter whether the hand brush or the machine brush is brushed once. The surface of the corrugated carton coated with the varnishes is hard-wearing and health-enhancing. It also increases the lightfastness, moisture resistance and carton strength of the ink, makes the carton resistant to scratches, has high strength, and has good water and moisture resistance. The traditional carton moisture-proof oil is prepared by using tung oil as the main raw material and adding an appropriate amount of organic solvent, which is characterized by good moisture-proof performance and good gloss, but the cost is high, the operation is inconvenient, and the drying speed is slow. In recent years, the use of polyurethanes and alkyd-based polymer resins as the main raw materials for the manufacture of carton moisture-proof oils has been superior to traditional products in terms of brushing properties and drying speed, but they have poor gloss, poor stability, and are relatively brittle and have slow cure rates. . In addition, the above-mentioned moisture-proof oil is also troublesome in operation, and it needs to use bone glue and starch to make a bottom. This not only occupies the site, but also has low efficiency, and some of them also have an adverse effect on the environment. Some use of waste polystyrene foam to produce moisture-proof agent, although it has opened up new and relatively cheap raw materials resources for the carton, there is a problem that when the carton is sealed, the water-free adhesive is not secure and the carton is easy to slip when being transported.
We chose paraffin wax, rosin, oxidized polyethylene and other high molecular raw materials as the main raw materials, refined by chemical reaction and processed into a new type of carton moisture-proof varnishes. After trial, it has excellent performance in brushing, drying speed, luster, etc., and the raw materials are cheap and easy to obtain, the production process is scientific and reasonable, the product quality is stable, and it has certain promotion and use value.
1. Preparation method Take appropriate amounts of paraffin wax, oxidized polyethylene, rosin, other emulsifiers, light quantity agents, and modifiers, and put them into a four-necked flask equipped with an electric stirrer and reflux condenser to emulsify it under certain conditions. Then stirring and heating, when the temperature reaches about 200cC constant temperature, so that the reaction completely cool, add the regulator to adjust the pH to 8.5-9.5 when the temperature can be discharged.

Solid content: 20-32%.
Viscosity (coating -4 cup/sec 25 cC): 50 ± 30 seconds.
Drying time: 7-10 minutes.
PH: 8.5, 9.5.
When the emulsifier emulsifies water-insoluble paraffin wax, oxidized polyethylene, etc., the emulsion is applied to a corrugated box and permeated into the carton to form a transparent film on the surface. The film is bright and flexible, has a good glazing effect, and the coating film is insoluble in water, so that it has excellent resistance to water and moisture.
New carton moisture-proof varnish is compared with traditional moisture-proof oil. The trial results of the various indicators are as follows:

In summary, the new carton moisture-proof oil is characterized by waterproof, heat and moisture, low cost, firm coating film, no pollution in production tools and use process, no “three wastes”, and can completely replace traditional moisture-proof oil, especially suitable for the current The gravure printing process used in the packaging industry has good development and utilization value.
